Communities with Mandatory Equity Fees &
Communities with NON-Mandatory Equity Fees
You may have questioned why a condo or home is a better price than others the same size. You may find that the lower priced condos or homes have pricey equity memberships. Yes, the country clubs with mandatory memberships are pricey, but beautiful. However, there are some beautiful 'clubs' without mandatory equity fees. The decision may depend on your personal preferences and budget.
Equity fees range from approximately $46k to $150k, or even higher. Plus there are HOA fees and Social Membership fees. Some have another fee for tennis. Possibly add a golf membership (if chosen or required).
Perhaps you will like the GL Homes developments or others. There are wonderful GL Homes communities for all ages. These developments are beautiful and have wonderful amenities for all to enjoy.
Some of the communities aka developments are for ages 55+ Active Adult. The HOA includes the clubhouse amenities. However, if there is a cafe, you must pay for your food. You also pay to attend a live show or event.
Other communities with clubhouses have card rooms, fitness centers, tennis courts, some with pickle ball courts, bocce ball, activities, swimming pool. Again, it depends on your personal preferences and budget. Feel free to contact me or text me with questions. :)
